“This was a beautiful cabin. I wasn't exactly sure what to expect but it was everything and more. We had brought a lot of supplies but it turns out we didnt really need much considering they provided all basic necessities. Showers had hot water. Everything was very clean. Easy check in and out. Very nice quiet remote area. Very comfortable and cute. ”

“A great place to rest our heads after a long day of hiking! The Glad Cottage was the perfect size for the two of us and our dog, though keep in mind it is tiny! It was clean, the kitchen was modern, and the cabin itself was cozy and welcoming. We had our own fire pit and deck which was a great bonus, plus lots of space to walk our dog.”

We found the cabin just as described, spotlessly clean and furnished with everything we needed. The property was very relaxing outside with a superclean, wonderful hot tub. “This property was one of the best we have stayed at. It was everything we needed, the bedroom and bathroom luxurious. The kitchen area was the perfect size, stocked with a choice of coffees, teas and snacks. It’s perfectly located to go to the many wineries, restaurants and shopping in the area, It is an easy drive into Charlottesville. Our hostess was great, texting to check if we needed anything. “Lovely property”

“First time here, staying in the lodge in a themed room with a fantastic view and wonderful sunrise. Food was excellent in the restaurant. The surprise came when we found out that a large fireworks display was being held at the lodge! We did not have to go anywhere for anything! One little complaint: we heard the people above us. Other than that, great experience!”
